Dallas PRSA Chapter Announces Alice Dykeman as Winner of
2004 Norm Teich Community Service Award

August 16, 2004 - Alice Dykeman has been chosen by the Dallas Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) as this year’s recipient of the Norman P. Teich Award, which recognizes a member’s outstanding dedication to public service.

An accredited public relations professional and PRSA Fellow, Dykeman was the first woman to serve as president of the Dallas PRSA chapter. She also was the first female district chairperson in the country.

Dykeman, who has been active in the education community for years, taught a public relations management course at the University of Dallas Graduate School of management for six years.

Since 1990, she has helped more than 6,000 people through monthly networking skills workshops at the North Dallas Chamber of Commerce and often mentors students from Europe, Latin America and the Far East…

April 13, 2004 – The Lifetime Achievement Award given annually to a person whose career has effectively communicated faith values in the Dallas-Fort Worth area was presented to Alice Dykeman, president of a Dallas public relations and marketing firm.
